About the Project

The members of this project include actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, researchers, administrators, political activists and teachers. They compose a non-hierarchical collective that has dedicated itself to five years of creative and collaborative research on the theme of Cassandra.

The research is conducted according to the methodologies found in the practice of the Discipline of Authentic Movement. Each year there are performance projects and workshops. As well, the members of the project conduct interviews and research the lives of private citizens as well as select public figures who have lived their own Cassandra experiences. All these activities provide the source material for the project. The culmination and results of the research will be presented in August 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
